Approximately three and a half hours of Doom, Stoner and Sludge Heavy Metal, for a suggested price of £4 or more.
A great sampler album featuring 32 artists. Buy the album, listen to them all, find an artist you like then look up their work here on Bandcamp.
Listen to this in the dark, but don't expect to escape from the Space Invaders....Why don't you listen to me when I'm talking to you? The world's about to end and we're all going to die... Favorite track: Black Dress.

about

A compilation of awesome Doom, Stoner and Sludge music raising money for the Music Venue Trust #saveourvenues campaign.

"Voices from the Void" is a charity compilation showcasing some of the best bands from the London Doom/Stoner/Sludge scene. It brings together heavy hitters Elephant Tree, sludge stalwarts Gurt and monstrous gloom purveyors Grave Lines with a whole host of established and up and coming talent. All on one 32 track behemoth of an album.

The idea was to bring together some of the best London based Doom/Stoner/Sludge bands to raise money for the Grassroots Music Venue fund. Smaller venues across London and the surrounding areas are facing full closure after the country went into lockdown due to the current Covid-19 crisis. Some of them, without financial help, will NEVER reopen again. It is vitally important for the London music scene that these venues are able to stay open, not just for the metal community, but for all aspiring musicians in London. The bands featured on the compilation are some of the best the London Doom, Stoner and Sludge scene has to offer. They have kindly donated a mix of demo tracks, new and unreleased tracks, current singles, and some absolute monster classics to the fundraising cause, making this a must have record, and well worth the suggested donation of £4.

Please give what you can by purchasing the compilation and doing your part in helping to keep London’s incredible music scene alive and well.

The London Doom Collective want to say a massive thank you to all of the bands that have donated their tracks, you’ve all made this an amazing project to work on. All of the record labels that let us use the tracks without hesitation and everyone else that has been involved along the process.
